9Centers exists because the field is full of two failure modes: sites that hide your chart behind a login wall, and sites that compute it wrong. We built the opposite: an open calculation pipeline you can audit, and a chart you get without giving us anything.

The engine

Positions: a VSOP87-class ephemeris (MIT-licensed astronomy-engine), verified against NASA JPL at every release. Design moment: solved to exactly 88° of solar arc. Node: true node, the mainstream HD software convention. Timezones: full IANA historical database. Rules: the canonical 64-gate wheel, 36 channels, 9 centers, and the type/authority/profile/cross tables — all checked against five public-figure charts on every build.

The stance

We take the mathematics seriously and hold the metaphysics lightly. A chart describes; it does not command. The moment any reading starts making decisions for you instead of with you, close the tab and go outside.

Design

Warm paper, quiet ink, one accent color — built on a shared design system with our family of divination tools. No neon gradients, no chatbot popups, no dark patterns.
